There are now twelve days until Delicious Sounds Choir sings in public for the first time. The Mayor will be coming to support the free lunchtime concert at Southampton City Art Gallery on Saturday 13th December at 1pm. I have contacted the Mayor’s charities; The Rainbow Project and Suthampton Samaritans as we will be making a collection for them. The concert will be festive with a twist (have you ever heard Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus with djembe drumming before?!)

If you would like to join us but were not at choir last night, please let me know so I can let the lovely Franco know how many to expect for coffee and cake (I recommend the apple tart!). Here’s the list so far: Fiona, Rudi, Stella, Continue reading →

With grateful thanks to choir member Chris Gill, we’re updating our website today. So far we’ve added a members only page, learned about widgets and drunk lots of coffee..!
As we embark on the second half of the autumn term, we have a site with which to publicise the choir both to potential members and to potential audiences.
